Patrick M. Dowd is a partner in Fried Frank's Corporate Real Estate Transactions Practice, resident in the New York office. He joined the Firm in 2017.
Mr. Dowd has extensive experience advising on the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, including both large single-asset and portfolio transactions, and advising on joint venture platforms for investment in commercial real estate. His practice includes the representation of leading private equity funds and other real estate investors.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. Dowd was a special counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Dowd worked for the U.S. Department of Defense pursuing the decommissioning and securing of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons in the former states of the Soviet Union.
