  • Counsel to Madison International Realty in ongoing matters relating to its ownership of joint venture interests in five office properties, including 133 Houndsditch, in London.
  • Counsel to Invesco Real Estate in relation to its acquisition of a 50 percent interest in Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth, from a Delancey-managed fund and new joint venture with Land Securities based on a total asset value of £300 million.
  • Counsel to British Land in relation to the real estate aspects of the disposal by Blackstone of its 50 percent stake in Broadgate and the resultant joint venture with GIC at a total asset value of £3.2 billion.
  • Counsel to Invesco Real Estate in relation to acquisition of the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough. The property was bought from a joint venture between Hammerson and Aviva Investors for just over £200 million and was in part acquired with debt financed by Aareal.

  • Counsel to Poly Real Estate Group in relation to the structured acquisition of 5 Fleet Place for £146.5 million.
  • Counsel to Invesco in relation to disposal of One Finsbury Circus to China Overseas Holding Limited for £152 million.
  • Counsel to British Land in relation to the joint venture with Oxford Properties on the development of the 46 storey Leadenhall building (the Cheesegrater), and the letting on excess of 80 percent of the building to tenants Aon, Amlin, Servcorp, Rothesay Life, Banco de Sabadell and Brit Assurance.
