John Lawrence is a senior corporate associate resident in Fried Frank's New York office. Mr. Lawrence's practice focuses on capital markets transactions, corporate governance and securities regulation.
Mr. Lawrence has served as lead associate in numerous corporate finance transactions as counsel to issuers, underwriters and selling securityholders. His practice encompasses initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary equity offerings, high-yield and investment grade debt offerings, spin-offs, acquisition financings, tender offers and exchange offers, spanning industries including banking, consumer products, energy, fashion, food products, homebuilding, mining, retail, shipping, technology and telecommunications.
In addition to providing counsel throughout the IPO process, Mr. Lawrence has significant experience guiding clients through the matters that arise after a company goes public. Mr. Lawrence regularly advises clients in connection with Exchange Act reporting, corporate governance and securities regulation, including disclosure and compliance matters involving domestic and foreign regulatory bodies.
