Jaclyn Goldberg is a tax associate resident in Fried Frank's Washington, DC office. She joined the Firm in 2016.
Ms. Goldberg's practice focuses on the federal income tax aspects of complex business transactions, including the structuring and negotiation of taxable and tax-free corporate acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations and spinoffs, and advising on the tax aspects of fund formation and operation.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Ms. Goldberg worked at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel (Passthroughs and Special Industries) where she specialized in partnership and S corporation taxation. During this time, she published guidance on a variety of partnership related matters, including proposed regulations relating to disguised payments for services, and provided audit and litigation advice and support on several complex partnership transactions.
