Amanda Giglio is a litigation associate resident in Fried Frank's New York office. Ms. Giglio's practice focuses on all aspects of corporate litigation including white collar criminal investigations, securities matters, regulatory inquiries, and real estate disputes. Ms. Giglio has represented individuals and entities in connection with investigations by the United States Attorney's Office, as well as various state and federal court proceedings.
Ms. Giglio maintains an active and extensive pro bono practice. From October 2015 through May 2016, Ms. Giglio served as Fried Frank's extern at Her Justice, a not-for-profit organization serving low-income women in New York City, where she represented clients in divorce, support, and child custody actions. Ms. Giglio has also participated in both state and federal appeals, representing clients in matters before the First Department Appellate Division and in impact litigations aiming to secure voting and transgender rights.
Ms. Giglio is an associate co-chair of the Women's Forum, an affinity group dedicated to uncovering and addressing issues faced by women at Fried Frank.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Ms. Giglio was a student attorney in the Georgetown University Law Center Domestic Violence legal clinic and a law clerk at the Legal Aid Society, the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and Sanctuary for Families.
