Franz R. Rassman
is a real estate partner in Fried Frank's Washington, DC office. He joined the Firm as a partner in 2008.
Mr. Rassman represents private and public commercial real estate investors and developers, supermarket operators, retail tenants, investment advisors, investment funds, pension funds, banks and other financial institutions. His practice focuses primarily on acquisitions and dispositions of office buildings, shopping centers, apartment projects and hotels, commercial leasing, joint ventures, real estate lending, workouts, and creditors' rights.
Mr. Rassman has served as developer's or tenant's counsel in several award-winning transactions recognized by real estate industry associations and publications for their significance to the business and legal community.
Mr. Rassman has written and lectured extensively on a variety of topics, including construction lending, title insurance, loan restructurings, commercial leasing, and landlord and tenant bankruptcies.
