Fried Frank Names Five New Partners

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced that Andrew J. Colosimo, Kevin J. Harnisch, Angelique C. Mamby, Gil Raviv and Sherri L. Snelson have been elected to the partnership effective September 1, 2004.

Andrew Colosimo, 32, joined the firm in 2000. He received his B.Laws from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1994 and his B.Comm. also from the University of Melbourne in 1992. He previously was an associate at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks in Australia. Mr. Colosimo practices in the area of corporate law and is resident in Fried Frank’s New York office.

Kevin Harnisch, 34, joined the firm in 1999. He received his JD, magna cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law in 1995 and his BBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1992. He was previously an attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Harnisch practices in the area of securities regulation and enforcement and is resident in Fried Frank’s Washington, DC office.

Angelique Mamby, 32, joined the firm in 1996. She received her JD from Harvard Law School in 1996 and her BA from New York University in 1993. Ms. Mamby practices in the area of corporate law and is resident in Fried Frank’s New York office.

Gil Raviv, 33, joined the firm in 1996. He received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1996 and his AB, magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1992. He also attended the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London in 1991. Mr. Raviv practices in the area of corporate law and is resident in Fried Frank’s New York office.

Sherri Snelson, 33, joined the firm in 2002. She received her JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1995, her MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University in 2002 and her BA, with honors, from Wake Forest University in 1991. She was previously an associate at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw and McGuire Woods LLP. Ms. Snelson practices in the area of corporate law and is resident in Fried Frank’s London office.

Commenting on the announcement, co-managing partner Valerie Ford Jacob said, “These appointments reflect the strength of the firm and its continuing growth in our key practice areas."
