Robert C. SchwenkelPartner Robert C. Schwenkel is the chair of Fried Frank's corporate department and head of the Firm's M&A and private equity groups. He joined the Firm in 1982 and became a partner in 1989. Mr. Schwenkel has a diverse transactional corporate practice concentrating in private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Representative clients include private investment funds managed by Goldman, Sachs & Co.; Permira Advisers LLP; Morgan Stanley Principal Investments; Onex Corporation; Appaloosa Management LP; and Citadel Investment Group. He also frequently represents private equity sponsors in "club" transactions. |
