Peter GuryanPartner Peter Guryan is a partner in the antitrust department resident in Fried Frank's New York office. He joined the Firm in 2001 and became partner in 2007. Mr. Guryan's practice is focused on antitrust counseling, government and regulatory review of mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. He has successfully represented major corporations in a wide range of industries in connection with merger, joint venture, and civil non-merger investigations before the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and state antitrust authorities. Mr. Guryan also has extensive experience in matters involving overlapping jurisdiction with the European Commission and other foreign antitrust authorities. Mr. Guryan recently represented Merck in its US$41b merger with Schering-Plough. |
