LLP Status

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP is a limited liability partnership qualified under the laws of the State of Delaware.  The personal liability of our partners is limited to the extent provided in such laws.

Under the laws of Delaware, an obligation of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP incurred while it is a limited liability partnership, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, is solely its obligation, and partners of it are not personally liable, directly or indirectly, by way of indemnification, contribution, assessment or otherwise, for such obligation solely by reason of being or so acting as a partner.

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP has its main office in New York and operates branch offices in Washington DC, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson (London) LLP has also qualified as a limited liability partnership under the laws of the State of Delaware, and the personal liability of its partners is also limited to the extent provided by such laws.  This partnership operates a branch office in London through which it engages in the practice of law.

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson (Europe) is a general partnership established under the laws of England and Wales.  This partnership operates a branch office in Paris, through which it engages in the practice of law.

Depending upon context, references herein to “Fried Frank” or “the Firm” refer to one or more of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson (London) LLP and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson (Europe).

Fried Frank also operates in association with a Hong Kong firm: Huen Wong & Co., established under the laws of Hong Kong.
